HIGH SPEED SPRING CONTACTS
Standard spring contacts can be used for 6Ghz frequency maximum. For higher frequencies, a special contacts and contacts arrangement are required.
These spring probes can transfer the signals between PCB’s or other layers.
ADR offers a wide range of spring contacts for high speed data transferring.
There are both single and double action probes.

HIGH SPEED “BARRELESS” SPRING CONTACTS
”Barreless” spring contacts were developed to reduce the spring-contact cost and to improve the signals transfer. These kind of contacts required appropriate socket. Short pins enable higher speed performance. ADR offers short “barreless” spring contacts in length of 3-4mm.
The contact is made of one or three parts only.
The one-piece spring contact is a low cost solution because it doesn’t require assembly process during production.

WATERPROOF POGO CONNECTORS
Pogo-pin connectors became very popular in the field of charging devices. Lately, you can find them also in an outdoor applications. Outdoor environment requires a special design, mainly to protect the contacts against humidity, water & salt spray.
Protecting the pins & the entire connector against water is the main issue in the connector’s design.
You may protect the internal mechanism of the pin (if necessary) by applying an o-ring between the plunger and the barrel.

ROLLING BALL POGO CONTACTS
Rolling ball pogo-pins aim to solve the problem of electrical contact between moving parts.
These special contacts, enable a continues signal transferring when contacts are shifting, sliding or rotating, without any signal’s interference.
Moreover, they enable smooth mechanical movement with a constant strain.

RF SIGNAL POGO CONTACTS
It is difficult to use standard pogo-pin for high RF signals ( high RF means > 6Ghz).
The structure of (at least) 3 parts—the plunger, the spring & the barrel and moreover, the connection between them, affect the signal negatively, and increase interferences.
Today, there are some new options to transfer high RF signals through pogo-pins.

IP68 POGO CONNECTOR
ADR offer customized, waterproof spring-contact connectors. The connectors meet protection classes from IPx5 to IPx8. The spring contacts are either molded directly or supplemented or sealed with special seals. Both pins & plastic molding can be customized to match the pitch, pin count and case size. Both sides of the connector can be sealed .

ULTRA-SMALL SIZES POGO
When you design a small or a high density pcb board, our ultra small pogo-pins & test probes can help you with space saving. That includes RF, signals or power transferring modules.
Barrel dia starts from 0.09mm & can be made of cooper alloy, gold alloy or, Ni/Au (Electroforming). Spring dia starts from 0.065mm & can be made of Music Wire, Stainless Steel or, Beryllium Copper. Plunger standard shapes are round, conical & crown.

MAGNET POGO CONTACTS
A recent trend in the connection systems is to use a magnet to attach the receptacle and the plug in pogo connectors.
The possibility of choosing appropriate magnet force gives you flexibility in the connector design. You “control” your locking system mechanism.

COAX & POWER POGO CONTACTS
ADR offer Coax spring contacts For frequencies up to 6Ghz with insertion loss of 0.6db (up to 3G ) & 1.5db (3-6G).
Contacts temp. range is –40/+90 C° .
Applications can be: Docking stations to transfer RF-signals (Wifi, GPRS, GPS, 3G ...) to external antennas, Accessory parts of handsfree sets
test and more.
