Tact switches are the most popular switches today. They can reach small dimensions as the above example (1.90x2.80x0.50) and still have appropriate tactile feedback.
Tact switches for harsh environments are different than the standards by offering the following features: Stainless-steal contacts (instead of Phosphor Bronze), Long travel (>0.25), Dust & Water protection & UL95-V0 Thermoplastic housing.
