In today’s panels assembly method, a complete harness is supplying to the system’s assembler. Split gland enable the system assembler to insert the complete harness through the gland. It means that the limitation of connector's size is the panel hole. Panel hole can be increased by using a “3 gland model”. This model that combine 3 glands in a single frame, enable to increase the connector's size (if needed).

This special gland design, has been made to enable the field technician to connect the RJ45 assembled connector to a box. The special design enable the field man to insert the assembled connector through the gland , tighten the gland and gets full protection against water & dust.
